back in the fall we visited Portland, Maine (one of my favesy spots), and spent a full day wandering around checking out all the hot shopping spots. we wandered into a fun local vintage spot and amaaazing we found these marvelous merit badges..and i got all wes anderson crazy about them…but when it came right down to it i couldn’t pull the trigger..because either i don’t have the perfect jean jacket to put them on..or i am just not a merit badge wearing type of gal. you decide.

Hi Jill – would you please share the name of the vintage shop and street it’s on? I also love doing short trips to Portland and would love to check out this store.

pine cone and chickadee on free street in portland! have fun

  3. I love merit badges. As a Girl Scout Leader, I have tons of them and can never figure out what to do with them! A bag covered in badges seems silly, I also don’t really wear a jean jacket. What to do? Maybe a funky curtain somewhere? Table runner?
